  1. Appointment Policies

Scheduling Information:

Initial Psychiatric Evaluations: 60min

Follow up visits: 30min

New patients can schedule a tentative appointment here. After scheduling, Dr. T will contact you within 24 hours to offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation and confirm your appointment.

Once confirmed by Dr. T, please complete and submit the intake paperwork package you receive, no later than 48 hours before your appointment. This allows us to verify insurance and understand your situation fully. Dr. T can then dedicate all scheduled time to conduct the clinical interview,  understanding your needs, discussing therapeutic options, and formulating a treatment plan.

Existing patients with a zero balance can schedule a 30-minute follow-up appointment here.

  • Cancellation and Rescheduling: Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Failure to provide adequate notice will result in a No Show fee of $150.00 before you can reschedule.

  • Late Cancellation and No-Shows: We have policies requiring 24-48 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling, along with associated fees.

  • Late arrivals
  • If you arrive late for your appointment by less than 15 minutes, you will still be seen for the remaining scheduled time. However, arriving late by more than 15 minutes will be considered a No Show, and the corresponding fee will be charged

 

  1. Payment Policies:

 

  • Patients with Insurance:
  • Dr. Tabacaru is currently an in-network provider with Cigna, Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross, United Healthcare/Optum, and Triwest .
  • We bill insurance policies and verify benefits prior to the initial visit.
  • Patients need to provide a picture of the insurance card front and back and make sure that they pay their copay, coinsurance or deductible at the time of their visit.

    
Patients with a different insurance plan than the ones accepted by this practice
, who have out of network benefits will have to pay the cash rate upfront and we will provide you with a superbill so you can submit it to your insurance and be reimbursed, Please call for details. (858)376-7796

  • We accept credit cards, debit cards, and HSA cards.
